Chris Bauer

I’ve been photographing people, places, things and moments for 14 years. In highschool, I started taking portraits of my classmates on a Canon Rebel XTI and realized my gift for appreciating the frame and the subject within it. I worked simply for the joy of getting the right shots that made me feel warm about the hobby that had quickly become my passion; photography.

After studying for 4 years at the University of Illinois Chicago, I received my bachelors in fine arts and moved back to St. Louis, Missouri to settle in and launch my craft into a career.

Capturing moments is all too important in a world like today. Sometimes to provide an example of change within our society, other times to provide a reminder of what true happiness looks and feels like. Most of all, it’s a reminder that we live in a world full of incredibly beautiful moments that need to be appreciated and that’s why I love to do what I do.
